The actual storage used

The shop uses an essential first-party server session and, only after an explicit choice, a first-party cookie recording the choice. No advertising pixel, analytics provider or marketing tracking service is installed. Accept does not activate an unnamed optional vendor.

Essential session: lauri_session

The HttpOnly cookie lauri_session has path=/, SameSite=Lax and a maximum lifetime of 2 days. On HTTPS it is Secure. It connects this browser with a server-held cart, form-security token, draft, request keys and confirmation access; the cookie does not contain an itemized order or banking credentials.

This essential storage operates regardless of the optional choice because ordering needs it. Blocking or clearing it can empty the current browser cart, invalidate forms and disconnect confirmation access. It does not erase a durable order record.

Preference: lauri_consent

The first-party cookie lauri_consent stores accepted, rejected or essential after explicit Accept, Reject or Save. It has path=/, SameSite=Lax and a maximum age of 180 days, with Secure on HTTPS. The site’s own script reads it. There is no localStorage advertising profile.

Before a choice, the card remains undecided across navigation and reload. Opening Manage, going Back without saving or closing the panel does not create a decision. All current choices leave only essential session services active because no optional service is installed.

Reopen and change your choice

Choose Cookie settings in the footer to open the panel again. Save essential only records that choice. Back without saving or Escape preserves the previous choice, or leaves it undecided. Scrolling and shopping do not imply agreement.

To remove storage, use the browser’s site-data controls. Deleting the preference makes the undecided card return. Deleting the session also resets browser cart access. Consider keeping a separate copy of your order reference before clearing browser data.

Without scripts and future changes

With JavaScript disabled, native variant selection, cart editing and checkout still use the essential server session. Optional tracking remains absent. This policy stays readable; browser settings can remove the essential cookie. The scripted preference panel is not required to purchase.

A future optional service requires an updated inventory and appropriate choice before activation. A saved choice here is not permission for unnamed future tracking. Personal order-record retention and privacy requests are described separately in Privacy Policy.
